Job Title: Data Engineer (1 year contract) (ID1576)
Location: Buona Vista
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm
Salary: $5000 - $7000
Job Summary:
• We are looking for a data engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.
• You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying data ingestion, processing, and delivery systems.
• You will also collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide insights and recommendations.
Job Description:
• Design and implement complex data pipelines and architectures for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability across different data sources and platforms
• Provide L3 support for in-house development work and data platform/warehouse
• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Create and maintain data documentation and metadata
• Support data users and troubleshoot data issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong knowledge and experience with KDB+ will be a huge advantage
• Experience with relational databases, as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and other scripting languages
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Snowflake, or GCP
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
