Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team. The Logistics Supervisor will oversee and manage our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of fruits to our clients. This role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellent service and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Supervise daily logistics operations including receiving, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution of fruits.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and develop a team of logistics staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained and avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all fruit products are handled, stored, and transported according to quality and safety standards.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues, and streamline processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on logistics operations, including performance metrics, inventory levels, and delivery schedules.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in the wholesale or food industry.
  • Skills:Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    Good understanding of inventory management and warehousing practices.
    Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Attributes:Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    Demonstrates a proactive approach and strong work ethic.
