Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of OpenShift, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture, coupled with a proven history of successfully modernizing applications within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage OpenShift platforms on Baremetal, Virtualized, or Public Cloud environments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead the transformation of legacy applications into modern microservices architectures, leveraging OpenShift to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as GitOps.
- Oversee the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications, ensuring their seamless operation.
- Mentor and guide team members, sharing technical expertise and promoting best practices in platform management and development.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be a Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident
- 7-8 years of hands-on experience with OpenShift architecture, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture with a demonstrated ability to modernize legacy systems.
- Proven experience working within the financial services sector, with a solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Deep knowledge of OpenShift components and features, including ACM, ACS, Quay, and ODF.
- Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Experience implementing GitOps workflows and managing infrastructure with GitOps tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Nice to have:
- Certification in OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Istio or other service mesh technologies.
