Job Summary
You will be working with our client who are well renowned in the financial sector. You will be working in a team of 6 to support the daily operations, maintenance and change management for the organisation’s internal system. Your team shall also
identify and streamline BAU operations to minimise recurrent issues and exceptions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure overall success of a project, or a portfolio of projects, by ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet business requirements and comply with governance framework, including security and resiliency.
- Manage and monitor project plan, project milestones, risk and change management to ensure delivery of the project on schedule, within scope and budget.
- Plan and manage the scope of the project, its objectives and desired outcomes, and ensure alignment of project to the business outcomes of the organization
- Build a comprehensive work plan and ensure all team members are on-board with delegated tasks and activities.
- Conduct regular work group meetings and provide project progress and status reports to stakeholders.
- Perform stakeholder management, including keeping the relevant stakeholders informed of the project status on a timely and regular basis.
- Manage processes and procedures covering issue and risk management.
- Manage the project schedule & lead activities towards the successful closure of the project
- Lead the application maintenance and support services covering Contract Management, Service Level Management (SLM), Service/Change Request Management (scope, schedule, budget, prioritisation), Problem and Incident Management (tracking, escalation, closure), Audit and Security Services, Risk Management
Requirements
- CITPM (Certified ICT Project Management Programme) or PMP (Project Management Professional) or COMIT (Certification in Outsourcing Management for IT) or an equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience in full project development life cycles.
- Possess a proven and successful track record in delivering complex IT projects/programs in the government sector or financial industry
- Knowledge of local government procurement and governance processes will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of design thinking and workshop facilitation will be an added advantage.
