Duration: 1 year contract (Renewable)
Location: Multiple locations (3)
Working hours: 12-hour shift x 4 days a week. Tentative schedule: Night x 2 Tues & Wed + Day x 2 Sat & Sun
Shift allowance: $100 fixed shift allowance + bonus upon completion
Core Responsibility
- Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Requirement
- Ntc in engineering with 1 or 2 years of job-related experience.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 20kg. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
