Job descriptions:
- Utilize ophthalmic instruments and equipment to perform diagnostic tests.
- Maintain and calibrate ophthalmic equipment to ensure it remains in good condition.
- Assist patients in preparing for examinations or procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all patients in a secure manner.
- Assist doctors in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.
- Recommend procedural and workflow enhancements based on efficiency observations.
- Support the rollout of new eye care services or technologies.
- Manage registration, appointment scheduling, and handling inquiries.
- Oversee clinic inventory, including medical and office supplies.
- Oversee maintenance, calibration, and repairs of all ophthalmic equipment.
- E-file insurance and Medisave claims for patients.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks as required.
Job requirements:
- Certification in Ophthalmic Technology, Optometry, or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an ophthalmic or clinical setting.
- Proficient in operating advanced ophthalmic diagnostic tools.
- Experience with patient management, medical record-keeping, and scheduling.
- Able to work independently and as a team member.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
