Job Description:
- Responsible for full QS work including valuation, submission of variation works, budgeting, controlling of cash flow and cost, processing of claims, contract payments, and settlement of final accounts, working with procurement team on the administration of projects.
- Review the contractual performance of all parties to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Discuss, draft, review, negotiate, and subsequently shortlist and award sub-contracts.
- Ensure compliance and flow down of corresponding terms to sub-contractors.
- Manage contractual risks, disputes resolution, and settlement.
- Monitor contracts and facilitate extension, renewal, and/or close-out as required.
- Keep the Contracts Manager updated on all contractual and site-related matters.
- Periodically report work progress to top management including reviewing, tracking and consolidating the project work done report before submitting to CFO.
Requirement:
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management/Building /Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the Construction industry.
- Experience in tendering and contracts management is preferred
- Good oral & written communication skills
- Multi-tasking and able to handle stress
