At least 10+ years of experience working as a Service Architect with at least 5+ years of pre-sales function in a service provider Industry.
As ans Senior Service Architect, you will be able to craft & stitch solutions across multi domains such as: DC Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Network, Backup, Automation etc. Shall possess experience in Managed services deal that is outcome based and to align to the Client business requirements. Should have experience in working on solutions aligned with ITIL process for multimillion dollar deals.
Experience in working on end-to-end solutioning that includes at least:
- Resource sizing/Modelling
- Services Integrations
- Optimization
- Align to SLA requirements
- Create value adds for end clients
A Senior Services Architect consults on the design and demo of Managed Services solutions across the Networking or Cloud or security domain. They are accountable for supporting the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions within the Networking/Cloud or Security technology domain.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the design relatively complex managed service solutions to meet client requirements by integrating technology and service design across the network technology domain
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products.
- Accountable for the design the Managed Service offering, interfacing with the platform delivery team.
- Directs testing and validation of new designs features and delivery models or recommend improving existing service offers that is being taken to market
- Directs for the service design deliverables of the solution, working with internal teams and partners to ensure supportability.
- Directs the validation processes by obtaining sign-off from technical, service, and costing stakeholders.
- Service design of solutions for the client that will be commercially competitive whilst mitigating risk.
- Map the client's requirements against the proposed set of service elements and architectures and coordinate the end-to-end solution development (Network).
- Accountable for execution a consulting approach that results in a consolidated statement of requirements, scope, transition documents, and costing based need for change, the role of IT, definition of the AS-IS versus desired state (Future Mode of operation defined), gap analysis, and roadmap, highlighted impacts, consequences, and benefits of the intended transformation (people, process, technology).
- Works across multiple sales teams to present an architecture solution to clients with a focus on cost savings or uncovering other client growth opportunities using the ability to discover and analyze the client’s current network architecture, platforms, and operating models
- Share client outcomes and market conditions with other stakeholders so that the global offering leads, and Managed Services community can evolve strategies and develop innovative solutions for the future
- Coach, mentor and act as advisor in service design situations
- Networks with the sales teams to have a commercial model discussion with the client
- Identify all service costs and populate cost models accurately to ensure full visibility of costs related to the delivery of the service over the contract term
- Accountable for the creation of and obtains sign-off from relevant stakeholders on the solution design that will form part of the commercial model
- Accountable for vendor management depending on the service offers and ensures that the transition to service delivery teams are well coordinated to ensure a smooth transition
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of Managed Services service and delivery models, including cloud, global, and distributed delivery models
- Comfortable working with costing models in partnership with sales and finance stakeholders
- Proficiency in Network/Infrastructure Managed Services
- Strong ability to communicate potential improvements and value of our solutions to all levels of stakeholders; including C-suite decision-makers
- Strong ability to work within a team, contributing to the success of the team while making a personal contribution; especially in a matrixed organisation
- Up to date knowledge on emerging trends in technology, Managed Services Integration, Network, etc
- Strong analytical skills and ability to discover and analyze all input and data
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Tertiary level – bachelor’s; or post-graduate degree with experience in a consulting capacity
- Certification and working knowledge of ITIL, Service Management and Integration, Automation Artificial Intelligence and Analytics
- Scaled Agile certification or equivalent
Required Experience:
- Advanced demonstrated experience designing network managed services solutions to large enterprise accounts
- Advanced demonstrated experience structuring large, multi-year profitable contracts
- Advanced solution planning and deal shaping technical specialist experience, with the ability to create compelling value propositions as part of the solution design
- Advanced demonstrated experience working in an environment with global delivery and in multiple geographies and industries
