We are looking for a well-rounded Android software engineer with 5+ years in experience in designing, coding, and rolling out moderately complex native mobile applications. You will join our RegTech engineering team that enables PayPal to operate across the globe and protects our business from money laundering activities.

What you need to bring to the role:
· 5+ Android application development - Activities, Fragments, ViewModels
· Good knowledge of MVVM, Repository pattern
· Experience with Android SDK
· Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
· Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines is a must.
· Unit and UI testing Frameworks: JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, Appium
· Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and Design
· Data Structures and Algorithms
· Interest and ability to learn programming languages and frameworks
· Experience in system design and considerations for large scale deployments
· Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
· Strong skills in writing testable code and high-quality tests
· Inclusive mindset to collaborate effectively in a diverse team
· Experience working in an Agile team, familiarity with Agile best practices, and ability to manage individual task deliverables
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Plus points:
· Experience in developing platform level features, such as configuration management, service discovery and routing, feature switch, A/B testing, etc.
· Familiarity with Open Source Web Stack Frameworks, Cloud Infrastructure
· Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD systems
· Experience with Sonar code quality.
· Experience in RegTech or FinTech related domains
