Job Summary
The role holder is part of Core Wealth platform Hive and participate actively in the delivery of Core Wealth Platform hive roadmap specific to Wealth Management and Affluent applications and projects, and support the achievement of Hive OKRs.
Strategy
- Manages the project / change using the Group’s ‘ePMO’ methodology in alignment with nWOWS and successfully delivers the scope with a disciplined approach to change control and agreed timelines.
- Responsible for managing the delivery of a workstream within a project or a low-complexity project, working closely with the relevant Business leads and wider set of stakeholders on a daily basis.
- Ensures scope, approach, solution design, timelines, and all other key aspects of the workstream/project are documented.
- Ensures that programmes and portfolios are aligned with operational and strategic objectives.
- Adheres to Group Standards, including processes related to NWOW, SCM, CRA, CGC etc.
- Ensures Program/ Project manager is made aware of any material risks, issues, cost, benefit, and scope changes in the workstream to be able to report to the Chief Product Owner (CPO) and relevant Governance Committees.
- Provides inputs to Project Manager to create financial baselines and track cost actuals in a detailed budget document for submission to PMO and Finance monthly.
- Assists and provides inputs to (if required) to Project or Program Manager so they can manage project expenditure against budget as agreed in the project business case and project definition document or approval request.
- Provides inputs and participates in relevant Governance Committees together with Program/ Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Business
- With the support from Program/ Project Manager manages conflicts in stakeholder expectations, employee experience and good practice in process solution design across multiple workstreams.
- Understands risks, business imperatives and business context when facilitating decision making impacted by the process re-design, create solution options and make recommendations.
- Presents clear options and recommendations, facilitates decision making and enables clear understanding in key stakeholders of risks, outcomes and trade-offs.
Processes
- Participates in or co-facilitates agile ceremonies in collaboration with technology delivery scrum masters.
- Supports continuous improvement and operational efficiency of processes to optimise operating model and employee experience.
- Works with the business architect and other planners to assess current capabilities and identify high-level customer requirements with the help of Product Owner.
- Ensures user stories and use cases are defined as per requirements.
- Ensures the Requirements Traceability Matrix is set up and maintained.
- Works with the Design team, Architects, and other Programme/ Project team members to define metrics and performance goals for the application.
- Participates in quality management reviews, process designs, prototypes and other requirements workbooks to ensure they fulfil stakeholder’s requirements.
- With Program/ Project managers works with Product Owner to groom and prioritise the product backlog.
- Manages project governance through delivery of work and sprint plans, agile ceremonies and relevant Governance forums

Risk Management
- Works with Program/ Project managers to manage & track risks, issues, impediments throughout the project life cycle and to follow up through its resolution.
- When required appropriately escalates impediments and blockers to the Program/ Project Manager, PMO, Chief Product Owner (CPO), relevant Governance Forums and ensures ownership by committee members for the mitigating actions.
- Prepares materials for governance meetings as required including Board quality presentations.
- With Program/ Project managers support ensures key person risks (BaU and project) are mitigated.
Governance
- When required appropriately escalates impediments and blockers to the Program/ Project Manager, PMO, Chief Product Owner (CPO), relevant Governance Forums and ensures ownership by committee members for the mitigating actions.

Skills and Experience
Our Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
- 4+ years experience in Banking PMO role.
- Ensures user stories and use cases are defined as per requirements.
- Ensures the Requirements Traceability Matrix is set up and maintained.
