SENIOR TECHNICAL MANAGER
As a Senior Technical Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic technical architectural review and give direction to Architectural teams who are developing Construction and Authority submission documentation packages. You will also review and where necessary stipulate protocols to ensure maintenance of all architectural drawings, specifications and other consultants/contractors documentation in organized manner according to Office standards and individual client specific requirements.
Responsibilities:
- To lead technical aspects of a project and technical teams with respect to the preparation and submission of Architectural submission packages to local Authorities.
- Demonstrate ability to structure such Technical Submission packages in Revit
- To understand and lead project statutory submissions and controls and to ensure comprehensive compliance documents are prepared as directed.
- To establish and manage the CORENET interface for all submissions work
- To control and manage revisions of Authorities submission documentation packages to ensure consistency of Aedas deliverables.
- To take responsibility, where required by the project leader, for specific areas of the design and project development to meet the local statutory requirements.
- To assist in the process of coordination with external design team and other associated organizations or companies in view of collating the required inputs for the Authority submissions
- To assist Architects / Designers & Project Leaders in controlling the required changes to the Architectural documentation packages to align with the Authority comments and code requirements
Requirements & Attributes:
- Diploma in Architecture preferred
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in architectural draftsmanship and technical coordination and Management;
- Experience in large scale, hotel, mixed use development will be an advantage
- Familiarity with statutory submissions and controls, along with a strong understanding of local regulations and codes
- Experience in leading the preparation and development of Architectural submission packages to local Authorities;
- Proficient in BIM (Revit Architecture) preferred.
- Proficient in Bluebeam and Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign) preferred.
- Ability to self-develop and build colleagues to enhance team potential .
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Other professional certifications such as GMAP or GMAAP and UD Assessor will be an advantage
