Overview
As part of our continued business expansion, we are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to drive
business growth and customer satisfaction in the local Singapore market, with a specific focus in the
analgesic and FMCG industries.
In this role, you are required to identify opportunities to increase sales and customer satisfaction,
develop account strategies to meet sales targets, identify product placement opportunities, analyse
market trends and conducting in-depth market research to identify potential growth opportunities,
collaborating with sales and marketing team on promotional campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement key account strategies for key customers based on thorough
understanding of their needs and proposing solutions that align with both company and
customer objectives.
2. Oversee sales and operations across the entire Singapore market. Develop and execute
effective key account strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives for Eagle
Brand's product portfolio.
3. Conduct market research and store visits to gather insights and support sales strategies.
4. Identify opportunities for product placement and increased visibility in the supermarkets,
retail stores, pharmacy chains, travel retails and tourist outlet chains.
5. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to implement and manage promotional
campaigns, manage A&P budgets to ensure promotional expenses stay within allocated limits.
6. Manage contract negotiations, pricing, and agreements with key clients to ensure mutually
beneficial terms and long-term partnerships.
7. Provide regular updates and performance reports on key account activities and sales
performance to head of sales.
8. Any tasks assigned by line manager
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in key account management, proven track record within the
FMCG industry, preferred focus on the analgesic market.
Experience with Modern Trade - Pharmacy channel clients will be an advantage, travel retail,
supermarkets, convenience stores.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of the local Singapore market dynamics.
• Experience with major retail chains or distributors in Singapore.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Trade Marketing experience, distributor management experience will be an added advantage.
• Ability in problem-solving and negotiation, Excellent communication
• Handling the pressure and stress of achieving targets
• Possess own transport
