Summary:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the maintenance of IT or electronic systems. The role involves managing relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring the maintenance project complies with approved work programs and methodology, and leading the Maintenance Team. This position also requires the review of deliverables and documentation and involves regular engagement with the Project Manager to ensure optimal maintenance procedures are in place and adhered to.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for the maintenance project.
- Coordinate maintenance requests, receive instructions, and attend meetings with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure all works comply with the approved work program and methodology.
- Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project operations.
- Prepare and submit reports, quotes, and other required documentation.
- Review and accept deliverables for maintenance work.
- Supervise and lead the Maintenance Team to ensure optimal performance.
- Arrange major contracts for services performed by sub-contractors.
- Establish service agreements, including vehicle leases and insurance policies related to maintenance work.
- Conduct regular reviews of the Maintenance Plan in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Submit monthly maintenance reports and attend all maintenance meetings.
- Plan and schedule routine preventive maintenance activities.
- Review the performance of routine preventive and corrective maintenance with Team Leads.
- Conduct regular reviews of Standard Maintenance Procedures and update them as needed.
Requirements:
- Relevant engineering or technical degree/diploma from a recognized university or tertiary institution.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in maintaining IT or electronic systems.
- PMP certification is required for diploma holders.
