Join our team as a Senior Project Engineer, where you'll lead and coordinate project activities to ensure the successful delivery of security systems. Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, you’ll oversee projects from planning through implementation, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and meet safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise project teams to ensure timely and efficient execution, meeting quality and safety standards.
- Work with sales staff and clients to define security needs, confirm system designs (CCTV, access control, etc.), and develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and budgets.
- Supervise the installation and integration of security systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards. Conduct system testing and troubleshooting.
- Resolve technical issues during the handover stage and provide vital information to the Service and Operations Team.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including design plans and installation records.
- Assist in training sessions for clients on system operations and best practices, and prepare training materials.
- Ensure systems meet regulatory standards, implementing safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including subcontractors and vendors, to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure systems meet performance standards and adhere to ISO45001 safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Higher Nitec in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related fields.
- 3-5 years in site supervision and coordination within security system installation.
- Familiarity with alarm systems, access control, and CCTV installations.
- Proficient in computer applications and understanding of risk management principles.
