Finance Analyst (Banking/6 Months Contract/Up to $6500)
Responsibilities
- Preparation of Global Financial Markets (“GFM”) monthly reports and analysis related to income with drill down into drivers and provide insightful analysis in management reports.
- Investigate variances and deep dive into the issues to provide insights to GFM.
- Work closely with GFM stakeholders and various finance functions to resolve the issues.
- Assist in any income related queries raised by GFM.
- Streamline existing reports/processes to ensure more efficient and timely output of reports.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or a Finance related discipline with experience in MIS or Financial reporting in banks.
- Analytical skills with a good sense of the business environment and attentive to details.
- A strong communicator with good written and verbal communication skills/good people skills to be able to interact well with various parties.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic and challenging environment with strong ability to multi-task.
- Strong innovation and inquisitive mindset
- Quick learner, with positive attitude towards initiating and making change happen.
- Good knowledge of banking products specially treasury related and clarity on Product/Customer dimensions.
- Good IT skills (MS Office tools, Advance Excel Skill and Hyperion skill) and preferably with good understanding of various reporting/data query tools like QlikView, Celerity or Tableau.
