Job Scope
- Supporting the Shift Leader in achieving safe, smooth and efficient operation of the process unit in the Plant.
- Leading a team of Operations Technicians in the shift to maintain safe, smooth and efficient operation of the process unit.
- Involved in the trouble-shooting and analysis of front-line plant operational problems.
- Control and manage the daily work permits for safe maintenance activities.
- Prepare/compile shift reports such as operations logs, plant operations summary, and plant trouble-shooting summary.
- Enhance Process Safety and HSE performance in the team through small group activities, near-missed reports, case studies, refresher training, risk assessment, etc.
Requirements
- A recognized Engineering Diploma or equivalent
- Some years of relevant plant operational experience is preferred
- Possess good leadership qualities with strong analytical & interpersonal skills
- Strong in written & verbal communication
- Must be prepared to work on 3-rotating shifts
