Sales & Marketing Manager / Business Manager

  1. Business Management , Customer Development and management– Develop business strategies for beauty business to integrate sales and marketing strategies and roll out activities seamlessly and profitably for Key Accounts in modern trade channels and new business channels to grow market share and financial health.
  2. Sales Budget Management and Forecast – Develop sales budget and Key Account Plans to align with principal and management, allocate, track and review by sales forcasts by channels and categories on regular basis. Reduce stock write-off and stock returns from trade.
  3. Trade Spend Management – Develop monthly and yearly trade and business development funds to meet sales targets . Manage, allocate to sales channels, track, control and review on regular basis. Develop good business relationships with trade customers and negotiate Trading terms for commercial viability .
  4. Trade Activation – Work closely with principal and internal stakeholders, i.e. Sales and Marketing team to communicate, manage, and roll out on-ground activities, customer programs, promotional activities, POSM/display drives, new product launches, merchandising plans, detailing aids to the Pharmacies and lower trade channel .
  5. Sales Force Effectiveness – Develop and roll out of Must-Sell List as per brand guide, track and analyse Sales Force Executives , Merchandisers and Promoters activities such as call reach, effective coverage and distribution, merchandising, in-store displays compliance, replenishment follow ups , stock health and weight management in trade channels, correct pricing on shelf etc. Manage and guide the front line team to achieve sales operations process excellence.
  6. Business Analytics and Business Reviews – Gather & tabulate sales reports, sales forecast, activities tracking vs budget vs Last year actuals and external business insights report on a weekly and monthly basis to identify gaps / opportunities for business improvement . Develop , present & implement Joint Business Plans with key customers . Lead & present business review with principals.
  7. Lead the team by promoting and adhering to SOPs on day-to-day responsibilities and interactions between Sales, Marketing, Warehouse, Admin & Finance dept. Set and re-set SOPs for business improvement on continuous basis.

Job Requirements

  • Min. 5 years' relevant experience in commercial role ,trade marketing and Key Account in the FMCG industry especially in modern trade channel in the beauty category
  • Min. Degree holder , Diploma holder
  • Strong commercial knowledge, business acumen and network in modern trade pharmacies’ and supermarkets’ planning and operations , trade marketing , business and supply chain management
  • Strong leader with good presentation and communication skills with people management experience and ability to work with and interact across all functions. Also possess problem solving skill and attitude.
  • Strong financial, data analytics skills with strong business acumen supported with proficiency in Excel & Power Point tools
  • Prior experience in FMCG beauty industry will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of E- Commerce business & Social Media marketing
