Research Fellow
We are seeking to recruit a Postdoctoral Fellow (Research Fellow). A person with background in molecular biology, cell culture, imaging and data analysis (including modelling and python programming) and has theoretical background on actin are encouraged to apply.
The MBI and NUS provide state-of-the-art facilities dedicated to microfluidics, high-resolution imaging, and cell culture that will support the fellow in training, setup, and execution of the project, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with talented and motivated research staff, interdisciplinary PIs, and clinician scientists.
Qualifications
- PhD in molecular cell biology or relevant biomedical disciplines. Candidates in the process of completing their PhDs in the relevant disciplines may also apply.
- Competence in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell culture, and confocal microscopy.
- Experiece in image analysis, photomanipulation and bioinformatics are highly desired.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Highly motivated to work both independently and as a team member
