The Position and Description
We are looking for an experienced manufacturing operations director / deputy manager to support the production of metal powders in Singapore.
Key job responsibilities include:
· Lead and support the foundry operations team ramp-up plan to full production.
· Manage the sieve department and associated technicians.
· Initiate and support cost saving and technology projects including with third parties.
· Provide technical support to the sales team.
· Lead technical issue troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
· Lead and facilitate plant preventive and maintenance procedures.
· Ensure compliance to audits, Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and other relevant industry standards.
· Support other operations related requirements.
1. Job requirement
· A bachelor’s degree in engineering or another related field.
· A minimum of 10 years of working experience, preferably in manufacturing/operations.
· Familiarity with additive manufacturing, metals, metal powders is a plus.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of management, both internally and externally.
· Proven analytical thinking and decision-making.
· Self-motivated, proactive, hands-on, and able to work autonomously.
· Fluent in English and a second language.
· Singapore Citizen and Applicants with full working rights in Singapore
