Job Description
The Growth Mentoring Team runs many important key programmes for NUS College in the domains of Coaching, Career Guidance and Community Building which are components of the NUSC experience. This encompasses the Year 1 & 2 programmes on Purpose & Identity, Interdisciplinary Internship Programme, Human Libraries, Firesides, Career Guidance, Life Coaching, Year 3 & 4 Alumni Mentoring Programme, Year 4 Critical Reflection Programme and collaborations with Student Life and Alumni teams as examples of the team’s scope of work. In addition, Growth Mentoring is also the core team organizing and running the AUN-NUS Summer Programme: Asian Undergraduate Symposium.

Senior Manager, Growth Mentoring
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing mentorship and coaching to students build self-confidence, purpose, identity and resilience, especially in the area of career guidance
- Writing, developing and administering new programmes and curriculum for NUS College.
- Designing and leading training workshops.
- Reviewing and updating existing programmes, including customisation work ensuring they are current and relevant to the needs of NUS students.
- Staying up to date on trends and missing gaps in the youth development sector, ensuring clear learning outcomes for programmes.
- Fostering a sense of community and belonging amongst students through the courses and workshops.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting our high–quality standards.
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A good degree with at least 2 to 3 years of working experience (preferred if in a similar role).
- At least 2 years of experience/ formal training working with youths, particularly within the education context.
- Experienced in facilitation and training in both small and large groups.
- Meticulous, analytical, organised, resourceful, independent and enjoy challenges
- Good interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Mature and adaptive and able to interact well with all levels of stakeholders
- Must be a team player with the ability to build a collaborative working relationship with people at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong proficiency in digital learning tools such as Kahoot! and Padlet.
