The Cleaning Technician cum Driver will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to our daily operations. This role requires a strong work ethic, independence, and a willingness to learn and adapt. The successful candidate will manage the transportation of cleaning supplies island-wide, assist in transporting staff, and perform supervisory duties and upholstery cleaning as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Transportation of Supplies: Pick up and deliver cleaning supplies across various locations island-wide.
Staff Transport: Safely pick up and drop off cleaning staff as required.
Supervision: Oversee cleaning operations and ensure that tasks are performed according to company standards.
Upholstery Cleaning: Perform upholstery cleaning and other specialized cleaning tasks as required.
Vehicle Management: Operate and maintain the company van/lorry, which is provided for both work and personal use.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning role or as a driver is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in handling cleaning equipment and products.
Driving License: Valid driving license (Class 3) and a clean driving record.
Work Ethic: Willingness to work hard, learn new skills, and adapt to various tasks.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
