Job Description
- Designing packaging systems and solutions to optimize the protection and transportation of products.
- Utilizing AutoCAD and other design software like SolidWorks to develop custom packaging layouts and configurations.
- Collaborating with logistics and manufacturing teams to ensure packaging designs meet operational and shipping requirements.
- Analyzing product dimensions, weights, and fragility to create efficient and cost-effective packaging solutions.
- Performing simulations and stress tests to ensure packaging durability during transit.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards for packaging and logistics (ISTA/ASTM).
- Documenting designs and maintaining detailed records for project requirements and modifications
The Successful Applicant
- Min. NITEC/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- With relevant experience or knowledge in packaging/ crating work preferred
- Understanding of ASTM international standards.
- Proficient use of AutoCAD software.
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with strong project management skills.
