Purpose of the role:
Managing the finance function to ensure the smooth running of the accounting function in Singapore. The key elements of the role will include management of all aspects relating to the financial cycle from billing, credit control, accounts payable, budget and filing of local accounts.
Main duties and responsibilities
Key tasks to include but are not limited to the following:
- Handle day-to-day accounting and finance functions
- Maintain proper accounting records and procedures
- In-charge of Statutory audit, budgeting, cashflow forecast
- In-charge of Clients' accounting, tax filing and Solicitors Accounts Rules compliance
- Assist with billings, WIP Management and Debtor Collections.
- Review monthly bank reconciliation for Singapore Office and Clients accounts
- Review and submit quarterly GST returns
- Lawyer liaison on Aderant and iTimekeep queries.
- Client and matter housekeeping.
- Assist in rolling out firmwide project
- Ad hoc duties are required
Key Skills
- Thorough approach to complying with processes and authorisations
- Proven ability to work within a busy environment and meet frequent deadlines
- IT literate with a knowledge of Aderant and Excel preferred
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication skills (written & oral)

Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (min 3 years) with progressive experience in a professional services firm (preferably legal)
- Hands on experience on finance and accounting areas
- Independent, experienced in maintaining full set of books
- Supervising experience
- Good team player and communication skill
