ComfortDelGro Engineering (“CDGE”) is going through an exciting transformation journey. CDGE has more than 40 years’ experience providing automotive services for taxis, as well as private and commercial vehicles. We are also the exclusive distributor for Volvo Bus & Parts, Davanti Tyres (passenger cars) and Duraturn Tyres (Commercial Vehicles).
We are looking for a team member to join CDGE and grow the B2B business for our electric vehicle.
You should feel comfortable and aspire to be a hunter to generate leads and build the sales pipeline. To succeed in this role, you must be experienced in preparing proposals and presenting to customers to secure and win deals.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Drive the sales and growth of vehicle sales
- Seek new sales opportunities via cold calling, networking and social media
- Generate and convert leads to build sales pipeline
- Arrange and oversee customers’ test drive appointments, offering expert insight for vehicle features, and specifications throughout the scheduled appointments
- Prepare commercial proposals, approval paper and business case for direct sales
- Prepare and submit tender for own or assigned sales lead
- Ensuring a consistently presentable showroom and vehicles at all times
- Attend to customer enquiries, inquiries, financing and complaints
- Retention and submission of documents to authority for vehicle registration
- Pursue new sales prospects, negotiating deals, and maintain customer satisfaction
- Send vehicle for inspection, IU and speed warning device installation, sides markings, etc
- Perform admin works like invoicing, SAP transactions, quotations, etc
- Perform check of vehicle prior take over by customer
- Source for requested accessories
- Any ad-hoc tasks
Requirements:
- At least 4 - 5 years of proven sales experience in automotive B2B commercial vehicle sales
- Ability to generate leads and identify strategic areas for growth
- Experienced in taking lead to prepare proposals and presenting to customers to secure and win deals
- Experienced in handling tender project
- Driven, strong negotiation and closing skills
- Strong commercial acumen and sound financial grounding
- Ability to influence and build credible, trusting customer relationships
- Well versed in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Class 3/3A license preferred
- Strong Communication & Writing Skill
