Job Description
- Processes the staff’s payroll, not limited to overtime payment, claims, incentives, allowances and other approved payments. Includes monthly & ad-hoc payroll runs.
- Cross-checks on salary computations to ensure the accuracy of salary pay-out
- Posts payroll transactions into SAP system
- Prepares salary reconciliation reports
- Prepares Payroll Monthly Reports (Overtime Report, Man-hours Report, Payroll Cost Report and Headcount Reports) to various department heads
- Submits CPF, IR8A, IR21, government related submission and other tax related matters for staff
- Works with Finance Department for monthly and quarterly closing for payroll area
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and/or tax agents on payroll related matters
- Processes government related claims such as NS Reservist, Maternity leave, Child Care
Leave claims. - Handle ad-hoc related projects as and when requested
Others
- Provides support in staff data creation or other system updates in SAP or Employee Self-Service System
- Provides payroll related data for internal & external reporting (eg. Management Reporting or MOM surveys and questionnaires)
- Reviews and implements Process Improvements for Payroll related areas
- Responding promptly to employee inquiries and concerns regarding their payroll
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Human Resource Management preferred)
- Minimum 3 years' working experience in payroll
- Good working knowledge of manpower regulations e.g. Employment Act, CPF Act & tax regulations
- Good HR knowledge and experience in payroll system and function
- Meticulous with an eye for detail
- Experience in SAP will be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in MS Excel
