We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager for a 1-year contract to manage and oversee the financial operations.e. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing the day-to-day financial activities while supporting senior management in strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:Lead the financial planning and budgeting processes.
    Provide financial analysis to support business decisions, including cost analysis, profitability analysis, and performance measurement.
    Ensure alignment of financial plans with business objectives.
  • Financial Reporting:Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations (e.g., Singapore Financial Reporting Standards - SFRS).
    Manage the preparation of management reports, variance analysis, and forecasts.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:Develop, monitor, and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
    Provide insight into financial trends, operational efficiency, and cost control measures.
    Ensure timely updates and reporting of financial projections to the leadership team.
  • Cash Flow Management:Oversee cash flow planning and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
    Monitor working capital and optimize cash flow, including receivables and payables management.
  • Compliance & Taxation:Ensure compliance with all regulatory and tax reporting requirements in Singapore.
    Work with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial audits.
    Oversee GST submissions, tax filings, and any other statutory requirements.
  • Internal Controls & Risk Management:Maintain and strengthen financial controls and processes to safeguard the company’s assets.
    Identify potential financial risks and recommend solutions to mitigate them.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or ACCA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in finance management.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore’s financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (SFRS).
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills the person can start work immediately as this is to cover someone who is away for sabbactical leave.
