Evaluator - Your future position?
We are recruiting for an Evaluator for Fine Fragrance Southeast Asia to be part of our Fine Fragrances Evaluation team in Singapore to offer excellent opportunities for both your personal and professional development.
Our Evaluators are olfactive development specialists whose primary goal is to guide Perfumers in the fragrance development process. To do so, Evaluator understand the market and the consumer& behaviour and preferences, a strategic view to analyse current olfactive trends, forecast future ones.
You will be in charge of the fragrance development process alongside Account Managers (Sales), Perfumers, Marketing, Consumer Market Research, and Laboratory experts.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop olfactory strategy for clients, market, category and guide Perfumery teams accordingly
- Manage and executive multiple complex briefs and develop or select fragrances according to the given brief guidelines
- Identify olfactive gaps and opportunities to be pursued for the brand catered to
- Liaise with other regional creative centres, to complete project assignments
- Define fragrances to be tested and coordinate with Consumer Marketing Insights
- Translate Consumer Marketing Insights results into olfactory guidelines for perfumers
- Participate in olfactory analysis of new products to identify interesting notes for creative Development
- Develop new fragrances with Perfumers on a proactive basis
- Collaborate with peers and perfumers around the global for a fast and efficient deployment of creative insight
- Work with lab on testing product stability
- Follow and understand the Best Practices and efficiency improvement opportunities
- Regularly engage, exchange and develop ideas with Consumer Marketing Insights, Marketing, Science & Technology
Your professional profile includes:
- University degree in any field of study
- At least 5 years of fragrance evaluation experience in any fragrance category (Fine Fragrance is ideal but not mandatory) across different geographical areas and working in a multicultural environment
- Broad knowledge of the global fine fragrances market dynamics and olfactory trends
- Expert knowledge of fine fragrance products and key customers in the region
- Demonstrable experience predicting market acceptance and relevance
- Demonstrable experience interacting with customers/clients on briefs, technical matters and other issues
- Ability to take ownership of a brand and build trusting customer relations
- Function as an olfactory advisor
