Job Summary:
The Head of Technical will be responsible for managing a group of Technical Officer for security equipment installation, testing, commissioning and system programming in accordance to required standards.
The Head of Technical reports to the Technical Director.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a department with multiple teams of internal and/or external resources to deliver specified works within agreed parameters.
- Manage Security and Fire Decam teams and responsible for departments the day-to-day activities and operations.
- Implement and enforced best-practice Technical/project methodology and processes to the team, with the objective of better management.
- Develop and actively manage project plans in line with company standards to ensure solutions are delivered within agreed parameters.
- Take appropriate corrective action to ensure delivery remains on track.
- defining requirements, agreeing terms and ensuring delivery.
- Relationship management with external partner(s), communicate effectively and keep control of deliverables.
- Enhance current documentation of all infrastructure components and operation processes.
- Study the current department structure and provide the proposal and implementation plan for the restructure.
- Track and identify the new opportunities to improve our methodology and training offerings.
- Build technical relationship with prospects or existing/new customers.
- Lead one team and manage the team to complete the works within the schedule and budget.

- Sets targets, implement guidelines, and assists with any issues the team member may have.
- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions and strategies.
- In charge of Technical BCM and Banking audits with technical solutions to address audit findings.
- Handle customer complains.
- Participate in all programs and enforces all policies relating to performance evaluations and career development planning.
- Enforces standard policies and procedures to technical department.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 8-10 years related experience with demonstrable record of success
- Good communicator with excellent coordination skills
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Committed individual with great initiative and strong problem-solving skills
- Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering/Computer Science or its equivalents
- Possess good leadership and organizing abilities
- Experience in the Security, ACS, CCTV, IDS, FIDS industry with integration knowledge and exposure to products and operations will be an added advantage
- Possess minimum diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with at least 4 years working experience as managing agent of military camps
