We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to manage key IT projects.
Job Duties
Project management responsibilities include delivering banking projects on time within budget and scope. Project managers should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.
Responsibilities
· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
· Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
· Scope Management
· Project Financials Management
· Resource loading management in scenarios of onsite, offshore projects.
· Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
· Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
· Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
· Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
· Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
· Perform risk management to minimize project risks
· Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Requirements
· Bachelors (Must), MS in Technology (Preferred)
· Project Management Experience of 10+ years, Total experience of 15+
· Transaction Banking Experience with 1 or more of these areas - Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Core Banking.
· Product Experience: Sales force, CGI, Finastra, SWIFT ISO, Bancs, Oracle Core Banking (Deposits), FIS (Lending)
· Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. Able to demonstrate hands on technology coding experience prior to project management in career.
· Experience in projects on workflow-based projects.
· Experience in Process Re-Engineering Projects.
· Understanding of agile / scrum (preferred with scrum master certifications)
· Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
· PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
· Experience in Complex Program Management is a plus.
· Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers
