Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Investment Bank Senior Associate or Director with extensive experience in Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and a strong background in boutique corporate finance and catalyst board sponsorship. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working with clients in China and the US, providing strategic advisory and execution support for IPO transactions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • IPO Execution: Lead and manage the IPO process from planning to execution, including preparation of prospectuses, roadshows, and regulatory filings.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients in China and the US, understanding their strategic objectives and providing tailored IPO and capital market solutions.
  • Strategic Advisory: Offer expert guidance on market trends, valuation, and capital raising strategies to optimize clients' IPO outcomes.
  • Financial Analysis: Oversee the preparation of financial models and valuation analyses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their development and enhancing team capabilities in IPO processes and corporate finance.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market and industry research to identify opportunities and inform clients’ IPO strategies.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all transaction documents are prepared accurately and comply with regulatory requirements, including offering memoranda and SEC filings.
  • Cross-Border Expertise: Navigate complex regulatory environments and cultural nuances in both China and the US to facilitate successful cross-border transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in investment banking with a strong focus on IPOs, ideally within a boutique corporate finance environment and with catalyst board sponsor companies.
  • Client Focus: Proven ability to manage and cultivate relationships with clients, particularly in the China and US markets.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and regulatory compliance; advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, capable of synthesizing complex information into actionable strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Cultural Awareness: Deep understanding of cultural dynamics and business practices in China and the US, enhancing relationship-building and negotiation skills.
