Position Summary :
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource practices and processes. This role supports business needs and ensures the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The HR Manager will be a vital part of the leadership team, ensuring that HR initiatives and functions are aligned with the strategic goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Recruitment and Staffing :Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, interviewing, and onboarding. Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and requirements.
2. Performance Management : Develop and manage performance appraisal systems. Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management issues. Facilitate employee development plans and career progression.
3. Employee Relations : Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives. Address employee grievances and conduct investigations as needed. Manage disciplinary actions and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
4. Training and Development : Identify training needs and create development programs. Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
5. Compensation and Benefits : Design and manage compensation structures and benefits programs. Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
6. HR Policies and Compliance : Develop and implement HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with employment laws regulations and other statutory HR requirement. Keep abreast of legislative changes and updates.
7. Workplace Safety and Health :Promote and ensure a safe working environment. Implement workplace safety programs and compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act.
8. HR Systems and Reporting :Manage HR systems and ensure data accuracy. Generate HR reports and analytics for management review. Utilize HR metrics to identify areas for improvement.
9. Diversity and Inclusion : Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion within the organization. Develop initiatives to ensure equal opportunities and prevent discrimination. Manage complaints of discrimination seriously, conduct proper investigations, and respond to affected individuals.
Qualification :
· Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of HR management experience.
· Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
· Proficiency in HR software, Payroll (Info-Tech) and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
· HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CIPD)
· Experience in diverse workforce environment.
· Familiarity with the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP).
