We are seeking an experienced BIM Managerwith a strong background in managing Building Information Modelling (BIM)processes for data center projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the coordination, development, and implementation of BIM workflows across the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication between design, engineering, and construction teams. This role will play a crucial part in delivering data center projects on time and within budget, maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement BIM execution plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirements for data center projects.
- Oversee the creation, management, and coordination of 3D BIM models, ensuring accurate integration of architectural, structural, MEP, and other systems.
- Lead the BIM team, providing guidance, training, and support to junior engineers, modelers, and coordinators.
- Work closely with project managers, design teams, and contractors to ensure that BIM processes are aligned with the project schedule and objectives.
- Identify and resolve clashes through model coordination, using software such as Navisworks, Autodesk Revit, and similar BIM tools.
- Ensure the preparation and delivery of accurate BIM documentation, including models, drawings, and schedules.
- Maintain quality control standards by performing regular audits of BIM models to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Apply knowledge and experience from previous data center projects to ensure all BIM elements support the unique technical and operational requirements of data centers, including MEP and infrastructure systems.
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide BIM-related solutions tailored to data center project needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a BIM Manager or in a similar role, with at least 2+ years of experience on data center projects.
- Advanced knowledge of BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) and other relevant tools such as BIM 360, Dynamo, and coordination platforms.
- Proven experience working on data center projects, with a strong understanding of the specific requirements for MEP coordination and infrastructure systems within data centers.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of BIM professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in BIM from recognized institutions (e.g., Autodesk, Certified Professional).
- Experience with large-scale data center projects or other critical infrastructure facilities.
- Familiarity with local BIM standards and regulations in Singapore.
