Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to the technical advisory team.
- Develop and implement quantity surveying strategies and processes.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budget and timelines.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project costs and financial performance.
- Advise on procurement strategies and contract management.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Rquirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in cost management, with a proven track record in a senior role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, MS Office).
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
