Our client, a company in the technology sector, is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team for a 9-months assignment.
The Role
The role involves various responsibilities including Financial Planning and Analysis, where the individual guides countries through forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes, provides financial insights for decision-making, conducts variance analysis, collaborates with cross-functional teams on financial goals, and acts as the budget owner for countries. Additionally, the role encompasses Financial Reporting Review, ensuring data accuracy for specified entities, reviewing monthly financial reports, analyzing variances, conducting P&L and Balance Sheet reviews, and overseeing year-end closing processes. The role also includes Finance Transformation tasks such as identifying opportunities for process improvement, supporting ERP migration, creating reports and analysis templates, as well as conducting ad hoc analyses and projects regionally.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of financial planning and analysis experience, with a preference for experience in a Big 4 firm. A professional accounting qualification or equivalent is preferred, along with strong analytical skills and excellent Excel abilities (PowerBI exposure is advantageous). Experience in transformation, automation, Excel modeling, and financial reporting optimization, as well as exposure to mergers and acquisitions, is desirable.
