Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of all construction trades performed are in accordance with the requirements of the Company and Authority’s Quality standards
- Develop, implement and Manage QAQC Management System and continually seek improvements
- Prepare on project specific CONQUAS, Quality Management and Green & Gracious assessment by the relevant Authority with specific contract requirements
- Ensure regular inspections are conducted for clearance of all trades at sites are compliance to standards and specification
- Ensure regular inspections on materials delivered to sites and materials used on-site to ensure materials are defects-free
- Review Non-conformance reports and ensure preventive and corrective actions are implemented
- Ensure that all preventive and corrective actions are taken and monitored for effectiveness
- Ensure that all project quality records and quality audit plans are maintained in proper documentation
- Ensure all the ISO Standards and Policies, statutory obligations and recommended Codes of practices of new and developed legislations and other standards are disseminated to all staff
- Regular review and improve a cost-effective quality system on the project in accordance with the requirement of the Company Quality Standards
- Ensure that quality control is conducted efficiently and economically in liaison with the Project Manager, Project In-charge(s) and other project staff responsible for quality control activities
- Coordinate with clients for witnessing the laboratory testing and field testing
- Prepare QA/QC reports on Project updates to Project Manager
- Ensure that quarterly internal audits are conducted and follow through the actions on findings
- Coordinate and liaise with Client, Client Representative and Vendor / Sub-Contractor on all QAQC matters
- To be kept abreast of current ISO, BS, SS and other relevant standards that relate to QA matters for on-site and off-site works
- Review, comment, document and control all QAQC related documentation including that of Vendor / Sub-Contractor ITPs and FATs
- To ensure tests are carried out in accordance with approved procedures and reports are duly submitted
Job Requirements
- Degrees / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services / M&E Engineering
- Minimum 7 years for Senior QA/QC Manager with related working experiences
- Possess practical knowledge in QA/QC regulations, systems and processes
- Proficient in CONQUAS is a MUST
- Show independency ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize tasks
- Proficient in MS Office, good problem analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess good Interpersonal skills and communication skills
