Job Title: Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with extensive experience in testing within the financial/banking industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data projects, business intelligence, and Quality Assurance (QA) testing, along with a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to data projects within the financial sector.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of data solutions.
- Conduct data penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential data issues.
- Utilize Snowflake for data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tasks.
- Work closely with development teams to validate data integrity and ensure adherence to business requirements throughout the SDLC.
- Create detailed documentation, including requirements specifications, test documentation, and user manuals.
- Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure project alignment and success.
- Analyze data trends and metrics to provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data projects and business intelligence, specifically in the financial/banking industry.
- Extensive experience in QA testing, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its application in project management.
- Strong experience with data penetration testing and data quality assurance methodologies.
- Proficiency in using Snowflake for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices is a plus.
