Job Title: Operations Research Engineer/Analyst
Location: Singapore
Salary: Up to SGD 10,000/month
We are seeking a talented Operations Research Engineer/Analyst with a strong background in optimization and data analysis to contribute to solving complex operational challenges. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical expertise in operations research, strong programming skills, and experience with optimization solvers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement optimization models to solve complex business and operational problems.
- Use solvers such as CPLEX and Gurobi to design and execute efficient algorithms for large-scale optimization problems.
- Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply models and tools to real-world business challenges.
- Write clean, efficient code primarily in Python, and perform data management tasks using SQL.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: MSc with 3+ years of experience or PhD in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with optimization solvers such as CPLEX or Gurobi.
- Proficient in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
