The IBP Leader owns the integrated business planning process for the BU, making sure the long-term strategy is connected to 18 month rolling plans, leading to the monthly IBP cycle. Sponsored by the MD, the role drives the Leadership team on the delivery of effective plans in service to the BU strategy and agenda. This person also works on evolving the process maturity in the organization supported by the MD and LT.
Main deliverables cover three dimensions:
- Strategic & Annual Planning connection to operations
- IBP Gap Management and S&OE Disciplines
- Continuous improvement through KPI & Performance tracking

The individual has an integrated perspective of the business, connecting dots and challenging solutions to ensure strategic alignment with the delivery of short- and long-term objectives with focus on E2E execution excellence.
A Taste of What You’ll be Doing
IBP process ownership & maturity progress plan
· Design & align the maturity evolution path with management, use of assessment to have continuous improvement actions. Monthly review and management checkpoints
· Work with Sponsors and Facilitators in action to improve inputs and outputs of the IBP, leading to KPI’s delivery
Lead and Partner with other functions in the Long-Term Planning
· Successful BU communication of Strategy to LT-1 and alignment of key strategic priorities that support plans, integration of all elements of 18 month planning – i.e. portfolio, brand, category, customer, channel.
· Ensure building blocks quality and work closely with finance during the budgeting process (Commercial, Supply & Financial)
· Work closely with the IT Director in driving a digitally fit culture within the organization, along with a transformation of the planning and performance management cycles (through end-to-end digital fitness)
Orchestrate Monthly Operational Disciplines aligned to Playbook
· Gap Management: Ensure monthly cadence, and bring one number across the system, identify gaps & risks/opps, monthly review of KPI’s and improvement actions. Bring functions into the MBR with one number, clear gap closing actions and updated R&O for 18 months
· S&OE: Bring to life S&OE discipline with Demand-Supply and Commercial teams – ensuring visibility and action plans for delivery of sales with the right supply, connecting with Finance to achieve results along the P&L (Month and Quarter)
· Reconcile variables between Gap Management and S&OE, meet short term results, while providing long term visibility to manage gaps or opportunities. Proactive management of gaps & risks/opps, follow thru to capture full value of initiatives or gaps
Support Capability development in the BU
· Ensure single KWAY of IBP implemented and training of functions, new hires
· Update all IBP related materials, ensure Sponsors and Facilitators are clear on R&R
· Governance: set governance of BU between all functions, with clear accountabilities
Your Recipe for Success
- Bachelor/Master's Degree in a Business/ Finance/ Engineering/ Bus-Related field
- Must have a strong commercial understanding – +7 years with customer facing role in Supply/Commercial
- Experience in S&OP or IBP process: Building fact-based plans or working with demand signals to optimize results in the market.
- Excellent English proficiency
- +12 or more years of related work experience in FMCG
