Finance and Admin Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance and Admin Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the finance department with daily financial operations, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. This role requires a self-directed and motivated individual who is ready to take on challenges and thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Bank Statement Updates:Retrieve and update bank statements in the company's financial system.
    Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and updated in a timely manner.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) Recognition:Process and record accounts receivable transactions.
    Ensure timely recognition of incoming payments and manage outstanding invoices.
  • Accounts Payable (AP) Management and Payment Processing:Update and manage accounts payable records.
    Submit payment requests and ensure all payments are processed on time.
    Liaise with vendors and suppliers regarding payment-related queries.
  • Monthly Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) Calculation:Assist in the monthly calculation and reporting of COGS.
    Ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory and cost data.
  • Administrative and Paperwork Support:Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
    Organize and maintain financial documentation, invoices, and reports.
    Assist in preparing financial reports and other documentation as needed.
  • Part-Timer Timesheet Management:Review and verify part-timer timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
    Ensure that hours worked are recorded correctly and coordinate with payroll for timely processing.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills with an acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to embrace challenges and manage high workloads effectively.
