The Role
Key Responsibilities:
Your work will directly contribute to expanding Opal’s client base and enhancing the brand's market presence.
Marketing & Content Management:
- Social Media Content Management: Take ownership of Opal’s LinkedIn presence, crafting and posting engaging content to build brand awareness and support business development.
- Content Development: Support the creation of marketing materials, including case studies, blog posts, and updates for social media and website, with a focus on fintech solutions and Opal’s value proposition.
- Campaign Execution: Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns targeting corporate services, lenders, and platforms, ensuring alignment with business development goals.
Business Development Support:
- Identify leads: Research and identify key groups of potential prospects.
- Lead Follow-up: Ensure consistent communication with prospective clients, following up on leads to keep relationships warm and opportunities progressing.
- Communication Management: Maintain a professional level of communication with prospects, ensuring they remain engaged throughout the sales process.
Research & Project Management:
- Market Research: Conduct research projects as assigned and Collaborate directly with the leadership team, contributing insights for key strategic decisions, covering market trends, competitor analysis, and emerging opportunities.
- Project Coordination: Handle ad hoc tasks and projects, managing them efficiently and delivering clear, actionable insights.

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or a similar role, ideally within a B2B enterprise sales environment (SaaS, White Label solutions, or Fintech experience).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to maintain professional relationships and follow up on leads effectively.
- Project management abilities to handle research projects and ad hoc tasks efficiently, providing timely and actionable insights
- Marketing experience in establishing and executing B2B enterprise marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Mailchimp), and content generation platforms (e.g., Canva, ChatGPT)
- Interest in learning and growing in the fintech industry, with a focus on payments, FX, and platform-based financial solutions.
