Responsibilities
- Service Reliability and StabilityEnsure the overall reliability, availability, and stability of middleware services and platforms.
- Technical Expertise and SupportProvide expert troubleshooting and analysis for managed workloads, addressing incidents and resolving issues through effective change and problem management.
- Collaboration with StakeholdersPartner with development, project, and business teams to understand requirements and technical specifications, contributing to project deliverables.
- Continuous Improvement CultureFoster a culture of continuous improvement in production environments, leveraging automation and performance hygiene practices.
- Performance AnalysisConduct technical analysis of production platforms to identify and remediate performance issues.
- Team CollaborationWork collaboratively in teams, building meaningful relationships to achieve common objectives.
- DevOps PracticesEngage in various DevOps disciplines, including CI/CD, Continuous Testing, Continuous Monitoring, and Continuous Compliance.
- Middleware Operations and DevelopmentOversee the operation and further development of middleware platforms and their interfaces.
- Self-Service DevelopmentDevelop self-service interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Strategic Project LeadershipExercise specialist responsibility in strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience with the following technical platforms:Operating Systems: Linux, Unix, and/or Windows.
- Middleware Technologies: Proficiency in Axway CFT/Synchrony Gateway and BMC Control-M.
- Monitoring and Data Analytics Tools: Familiarity with OMI, ServiceNow, and Geneos.
- Scripting Languages: Experience with Java, Unix Shell, Python, PowerShell, and Perl.
- ITIL Knowledge: Strong understanding of the ITIL Service Management framework, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Technical Platforms: Experience with one or more of the following:Docker/Kubernetes, Ansible, Elastic Search, Rundeck, GIT
- Shift Work: Willingness to work in shifts and participate in on-call support rotations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and logical reasoning abilities.
- Team Orientation: Customer-focused with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration; able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- DevOps Tools: Experience with DevOps tools and frameworks.
- Certifications: BMC Certified Service Professional in Control-M Version 9.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in banking or financial institutions.
Time Zone Requirements:
- Must be available to work according to Paris, New York, and/or Asia time zones.
- Typical shifts include:
- Summer Season: 2 PM to 11 PM or 4 PM to 1 AM
- Winter Season: 3 PM to 12 AM or 5 PM to 2 AM
Flexibility to adapt to a planned schedule as required. - Extended Hours:May be required to start work earlier or extend working hours as necessary.
On-Call Support:Availability for on-call support during non-business hours and/or weekends is expected.
Allowance is claimable for any hours worked during these times.
