Job Description
- Support deal lead in origination, execution and obtaining approval for investments.
- Perform investment due diligence including, but not limited to, financial and operational analysis, financial modeling, transaction structuring, ESG analysis, macreoeconomic and industry research on prospective investments.
- Working collaboratively with the rest of the Keppel Credit team and various stakeholders to meet corporate goals, performing various tasks related to portfolio management & monitoring, fund marketing efforts, and assisting in preparation of external investor communication materials and responses to investor requests.
- He/ she will also work with the Legal, Risk & Compliance, Finance and Treasury functions as appropriate for all ancillary activities in support of the lending business, such as KYC, risk analysis, funding arrangements, financial forecasts etc.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should have a strong background with 7-10 years in execution of transactions in the Asia-Pacific infrastructure financing, project financing, leverage financing or private credit space.
- Proven experience in credit analysis and the preparation of investment or credit memorandums.
- Strong financial modelling skills.
- Proven experience in the infrastructure sectors (e.g. renewables, power & utilities, transport and offshore, logistics, digital, social infrastructure) would be a strong plus.
- Knowledge of the application of ESG or sustainability principles in investment execution would be a strong plus.
- The candidate should be comfortable working in a collegial, collaborative, fast-paced, high-growth environment and possess high levels of intellect, drive, and energy, be process oriented, and be customer-focused both internally and externally.
- The candidate should be self-motivated, hands-on, entrepreneurial, resourceful, meticulous and results driven.
