We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Global Projects - Agency Finance to join our dynamic team at PIL. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end implementation of the Global financial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision:
- Oversee the design of global blueprint of agency finance operation process.
- Ensure alignment of integration of IT systems and application to support the transformation.
- Ensure the alignment of technology solution with business requirements and objectives.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internal (executives, department heads) and external (vendor representatives), ensuring alignment and support throughout the transition.
Communication:
- Ensure that vendor deliverables meet project specifications and timelines
Decision-Making:
- Make informed and timely decisions, considering the impact on the transition project and the broader organizational context.
Change Leadership:
- Drive organizational change by effectively communicating the benefits of the Shared Services initiative and addressing concerns proactively.
- Conduct training sessions and create training materials for end-users.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks associated with the transition, develop mitigation strategies, and lead the implementation of risk management plans.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating processes and systems, identifying opportunities for optimization, and implementing best practices.
Requirements
- A recognised degree or equivalent in Business, Accountancy, Economics, Finance, Data analytics or a related field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, business process or related role
- Proven experience in project management, with a focus on executing complex projects within specified timelines.
- Proven experience in a leadership role in a large organisation
- Experience with change management and leading organisational transformations
- Familiarity with the container shipping industry is a plus.
- Professional certification such as Lean Management or PMP (Project Management Professional) would be advantageous
