As part of the Singapore Energy Team, the focus of this role is to devise solutions for the delivery of feasibility studies, system design, and owner's engineer assignments for Utility-scale Renewables (solar, BESS, Wind) and High-Voltage Transmission and Distribution schemes; specifically for electricity network operators, utility scale renewables (e.g. solar, hydro, offshore wind etc) and transmission interconnector developers. The role will be client facing and will include preparing bids, as well as performing business development activities to help shape and expand Arup’s Energy business footprint in Singapore and in SE Asia.

The Opportunity

  • Perform feasibility studies and early-stage design roles for renewable energy projects involving solar, wind, hydrogen or battery storage technologies
  • Work in large-scale T&D and Renewables projects with multiple teams and stakeholders, developing project plans, schedules and managing project risks. Meet agreed budgets, quality and deadlines.
  • Work with Project Managers to execute consulting engagements, which include coordinating with cross-discipline teams to develop bespoke solutions for clients
  • Undertake Technical Due Diligence in the Renewable Energy sector
  • Manage the delivery of project tasks to meet quality, time and budget metrics

Is this role right for you?

  • Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Physical Sciences
  • Relevant experience in transmission & distribution networks, utility-scale renewables or similar projects;
  • Relevant experience during project feasibility, development and implementation phases;
  • Relevant industry experience within a RE developer, EPC, project management or consulting business environment;
  • Relevant experience in the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects;
