Responsibilities:
- Perform site survey, installation, testing and commissioning, instrument maintenance and calibration on general laboratory/material testing/medical equipment.
- Ensure all equipment repair and maintenance service are promptly attended to and rectified within a reasonable period to minimize down time in customer’s operation.
- Liaise with external vendors, contractors, clients, suppliers and other business managers and staff on all issues pertaining to sales and service activities.
- Provide support in preparing service quotations and service contracts.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of all service reports and documentation.
- Upkeeps of technical library for manual and technical drawings
- Collaborate closely with the Service Manager to align technical service activities with overall service and business objectives.
- Maintain the desired customer excellence experience and always keep a positive outlook.
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned by reporting manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum NITEC in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
- Candidates should have a minimum 2 years of relevant experience in technical service.
- Customer Service Orientated mindset
- Quick learner, team player and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to understand/interpret electronics, electrical and other technical schematic drawings
- Understand basic concept of computer networking/equipment
- Experience in basic setup of TCP/IP and physical connection of network equipment is advantageous
- Independent and self-motivated, with a positive attitude towards learning, and a pleasant personality
- Able to perform standby duty as and when activated (evenings and weekends)
- Preferably own a motorbike
