The Change Manager is responsible for overseeing all technology changes in accordance with the change management process. This role involves leading the change approval board, assessing the status and quality of change requests, ensuring that all necessary approvals are secured, and closely monitoring the closure of changes.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the change approval board in collaboration with technical teams and leaders.
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans and strategies.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to meet change objectives.
- Prepare reports for senior stakeholders outlining approved changes and their associated risk categories.
- Monitor and report on the progress of changes, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate change management into project plans.
- Promote a culture of change resilience and continuous improvement with a focus on risk management.
- Conduct analyses to identify trends in change management.
- Review incidents to ensure accurate documentation in accordance with the Incident Management process.
- Track and report all relevant Change Management KPIs.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews for failed changes and those resulting in incidents.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 5 to 10 years of experience in change management within a large organization.
- Experience in a regulated financial institution is preferred.
- Familiarity with the digital payments landscape is advantageous.
- Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing stakeholder relationships.
- ITIL 4 certification is required.
