Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Risk Management Manager in the following key areas:
- Conduct daily reporting of risk positions and monitor limits/stop losses for all SEA DM countries.
- Partner with the commercial team to establish standardized costs for commodity trades.
- Streamline reporting processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Validate market prices and oversee mark-to-market valuation of open positions.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on trading gross margin estimates.
- Coordinate with commercial trading desks to review estimates and resolve issues related to mark-to-market, LOCOM, costings, and contract pricing.
- Collaborate closely with commercial teams, operational teams, and local GBS teams to reconcile actual results with estimates on a monthly basis.
- Review and maintain standard costings within the GOS system for all SEA DM countries.
- Manage clearing account administration processes, including opening and amending clearing accounts, and oversee the administration of new products (exchange traded or OTC) and user profiles in risk management and trading platforms.
- Collaborate with the Global CRMO team to proactively monitor and address issues related to risk management, trading estimates, and compliance reporting.
- Serve as a backup for the Asia Risk team when necessary.
Your Profile
- Bachelor Degree in economics, accounting or business administration
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial, controlling or risk reporting roles in the agribusiness commodity business
- Extensive knowledge of commodity valuation concepts (mark-to-market, lower of cost and net realizable value).
- Capable of analyzing and reconciling trading gross margin estimates against trader’s PNL.
- Good knowledge of Incoterms and commodity trade execution processes
- Exposure to key commodity trading instruments (forward cash contracts, basis/premium contracts, futures, options)
- Good skills in excel and strong sense of numbers.
