Senior Manager (Product Solution Architect)
Job Overview:
As a member of the team, you will be part of a diverse and global team at the forefront of creating cargo solutions to enable more agile, resilient and sustainable supply chains. Experience first-hand and drive supply chain transformation from Singapore through client’s global network of ports, logistics and supply chain solutions.
As a member of the Product Architecture Team, you will be responsible for a product solution and the execution of that solution with guaranteed fit-to-use, scalability, consistency, rationalization, optimization and continuation while maintaining the product directives and standards. As a product architect, you may be assigned as a solution owner for one of the Terminal Operating System (TOS) product.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define the architecture of new projects or important IT evolutions in agreement with the architecture and operability standards. Deliver position papers to decide between several Architectural options.
- Define the information Technology architecture standards (applications, infrastructure, data, integration, security).
- Develop broad knowledge about current “AS-IS’ and future “TO-BE” product features.
- Work with Product architecture team and Product Managers in the planning and execution of new product releases.
- Work with product teams in the solution engineering efforts.
- Provide support for production escalations and problem resolution for customers.
- Assist technical team with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems knowledge.
- Carry out regular technology scans and propose solutions on technologic innovations.
Job Requirements:
- Technical Skills.
- Experience in IT products and deployment environments, including server, desktop, mobile and embedded platforms.
- Resourceful in all levels of architecture, design and implementation (including code).
- Wide knowledge and experience in (preferred hands-on in Open Source Technologies).
- Java 8, J2EE, C#/ASP, .NET, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JMS, EJB, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful Services, Spring Security, LDAP, XSLT.
- Angular JS, Angular 2, Bootstrap 3 x, jQuery 2 x, CSS, Node.js, WS02, Tomcat, Jetty, Weblogic, Junit.
- IBM DB2, and/or Oracle RDBMS and/or MS SQL Server, MS SSRS, MS BI.
- Source code management: Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket, SVN (preferred), Build: (Moven preferred), Continuous Integration (Jenkins/Hudson preferred), Code Metrics (Sonar preferred).
- Microsoft Azure (preferred).
- Architecture and Design modelling (e.g., UML, BPMN, ERD, etc.), with architecture modelling tools.
- Actively tracks emerging technologies and evaluates their applicability to business goals and requirements.
- ·Business Skills.
- Excellent verbal presentation and written communication.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment with budgets and schedules.
- Ability to independently reach out as a peer, mentor and coach as appropriate across the organisation.
- Knowledge of enterprise-scale SDLCs and Agile Methodologies.
- Be able to work in a global and multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to supervise, multi-task, meet deadlines and work independently as well as under pressure.
- Able and willing to travel globally (approximately 25%).

- Assistant Vice President (Group IT), Product Architecture and Governance.
- Project Manager (for assigned application projects).
