Responsibilities
· Create Scala/ Spark/ Pyspark jobs for data transformation and aggregation.
· Produce unit tests for Spark transformations and helper methods.
· Design data processing pipelines.
Skills/Requirement
Must have Skills:
- Creating high performance PySpark applications which should be able to handle millions of rows from various file format
- Hands on experience in creating PySpark jobs for data transformation and aggregation
- Strong understanding of Hadoop architecture and design best practices
- Evaluate and implement innovative and continuous design improvements to PySpark framework
- Understanding of Financial Markets Asset Classes (FX, FI, Equities, Rates, Commodities & Credit), various trade types (OTC, exchange traded, Spot, Forward, Swap, Options) and related systems would be plus.
