Job Description
- Ensure compliance with desk policies including Singapore regulations, market and credit and liquidity risk policies, which means optimizing the funding costs and the profitability of the liquidity buffer.
- Through collection and dissemination of information, recommend and implement appropriate hedging operations based on market trends and future forecasts.
- Contribute to facilitate transactional payments flows and increasing customer business by always being aware of professional behavior, such as implementing fair and appropriate board rate operations.
- Collaborate with other staff to complete system input quickly and equally.
- Establish and maintain professional and constructive relationships with counterparties including the head office, Singapore offices, other AOTD treasuries, and external parties such as central banks and financial institutions.
- Proactively make recommendations to improve the ALM operations, and take the lead in introducing systems, complying with laws and regulations, and building operational flows.
- Maintain high standards of conduct in financial markets by complying with all regulations and internal policies and risk monitoring indicators.
- Constantly improve your skills required for ALM management, regulations, DX, etc.
- Provide quality back-up for other team members.
- Responding to ad hoc requirements on the business as required.
- Set and execute performance goals and deadlines in line with GMC target, KPI and AOTD target.
- Demonstrates exemplary behavior by being collaborative and through knowledge sharing.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in ALM and financial markets, preferably with professional experience in ALM operation.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently, as well as be able to communicate and negotiate effectively.
- Knowledge in VBA and API to be utilized in ALM operation.
- Knowledge of Singapore and global financial regulations.
